Denisha Michele Seals earned her B.A. at the University of Nebraska - Omaha. She is a childhood trauma survivor and Lived Experience Consultant who now puts her experience towards helping other multicultural children better understand and heal from their own traumas.
Dr. Nikitah Okembe-Ra Imani earned his Doctorate and Masters of Arts in Sociology and a Masters of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida. Dr. Imani is on the editorial board for two journals: Critical Sociology and the Journal of Racial Pedagogy.
Stevie Howard earned her Media Arts Degree at Central Community College and a Digital Marketing Degree at Bellevue University. She has a passion for mental health and wellness. As a trauma survivor she has a personal connection to our mission. Stevie is a direct-report of our founder and handles all marketing for Water2Spirit.
John Cartier is an attorney and graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law with a concentration in Constitutional law. John specializes in civil rights.
Crystal Carroll of Crystal's Kitchen is the food service provider for all our programs including day and evening reporting for female youth within the juvenile probation system.
Joy Marshall holds a Bachelor degree in cognitive psychology from UNO. During her time at UNO, Joy served as a peer mentor in the Exploratory Studies program and as a research assistant in the Department of Philosophy . She is passionate about social equity and believes in the healing and educational power of the performing arts.
